Ask Ms. Gail: Membership is ownership. What does that mean?

QUESTION: Membership is ownership. What does that mean?

Answer: When we say membership is ownership, we mean exactly that. When you walk in and open an account with us, you become a member-owner.

So you get to vote on who that volunteer board of directors will be. You are part of the credit union. Everything is all about you.

When we are sitting around and talking about what products or services we want to provide for you, we have you at top of mind.

We are member owned and it means exactly that.
